Or consider it for ornaments for a traditional country feeling.

Vintage Christmas

Vintage is amazing. Look at these inspiring ideas and make something like this in your own house for Christmas time. Blue, silver, brown, black and gold or something a little bit more light like rose – these are the colors you need. Old-fashioned wreaths of fir branches or exquisite ones of balls; some vintage furniture with thin trees – not only fir trees – decorated with bells and balls. Take more flowers, candles and lace snowflakes. Flower centerpieces and use many flowers for decoration – that would be elegant! Use laces to pack the presents, old-fashioned lamps and candle holders would highlight the atmosphere. Vintage stockings on your fireplace would finish the impression.

Indoors and outdoors Christmas lanterns

You may say that a lantern is an old-fashioned piece, that it’s not modern but a lantern makes the space cozier, it brings light, warmth and comfort, it’s a cool idea for Christmas. You can make some yourselves: of metal, of mason jars, of wood or paper. Buy some ready traditional lanterns of glass and black metal and put some candles and Christmas ornaments inside – they would look very holiday-like. Such lanterns may be used both inside and outside – and the candles won’t be snuffed out. An unusual idea is an ice lantern which is great for outdoors and looks so exciting! Put some cranberry into ice and the amazing look will be provided! Decorating with pinecones, snowflakes and faux snowballs made of felt is right what you need. Have a look at the pictures below and get inspired!

Pinecone decoration for Christmas

Pinecones are traditional for Christmas; they are simple to find and give a cute touch to the décor, make it cozy. They are perfect to combine with candles to create some exciting centerpiece. A pinecone wreath is a cool alternative to a usual one but you may also add some of them to a fir tree wreath. Paint the pinecones or glitter them, put in a bowl or a glass and a nice decoration is ready. Make loops and hang on the tree, the door or the window to decorate them. The fireplace and mantel may be also beautifully decorated with pinecones, and you can even make a pinecone Christmas tree, if you like. Look for more inspiring ideas below.
